Sports at WEC is proud to partner with Florida Premier FC to grow youth soccer in Marion County—bringing a complete pathway from learn-to-play to competitive soccer at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.
WEC Premier FC is a new soccer club created through the collaboration between Sports at WEC and Florida Premier FC. Together, we’re expanding soccer opportunities for athletes and families across Marion County—fostering an environment where players of all ages can train, compete, and thrive.
Built on the WEC experience, this program supports a clearly defined player pathway—from recreational play to competitive club teams and beyond—while maintaining a high-quality, family-focused approach.
Programs at a Glance
HAPPYFEET SOCCER (AGES 2-8)
A fun, age-appropriate introduction to soccer offered seasonally. HappyFeet is a 7-week league program that meets once per week, combining a mini skill-introduction with a non-competitive game so children can build confidence and develop at their own pace.
PREMIER FC | REC+ (RECREATIONAL SOCCER, REIMAGINED)
Rec+ is the next evolution of recreational soccer—every session led by licensed, professional coaches (not volunteers). Training is age-appropriate and designed to build technical skill, confidence, and a true love for the game.
Families love the local approach: no travel and no pressure, just a professionally run program in your community. Sessions blend high-quality coaching with fun, small-sided games to maximize development and engagement.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS (U7–U19)
For players ready to compete at higher levels, Florida Premier’s Competitive Program supports boys and girls U7–U19 in a positive environment that rewards talent, commitment, sportsmanship, and continued development. Competitive play includes travel to local, regional, and potentially out-of-state games and tournaments.
Competitive teams are typically formed through open tryouts and evaluations, with players accepted for a seasonal year running July 1 – June 30 (committed to a playing season of August 1 – May 31).
